AIM

In 2026, we celebrate two major milestones:

✨ the 10th anniversary of Young Actors Krew (YAK)

✨ the 250th anniversary of the United States

Saluda The Musical is an original production telling the story of Saluda—its people, history, resilience, and heart—through music and theater. This multigenerational show will bring together youth performers and the wider community in a once-in-a-decade celebration.

Audition Preparation

Performers should prepare:

One song of their choice

One short monologue

Selections should showcase the performer’s voice, personality, and talent. Any style is welcome—choose material that best represents you.

Rehearsals & Performances

Rehearsals are TBD. Show dates are November 12, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22

Homeschool Option

A mid-week daytime rehearsal option for homeschoolers is in the works (details TBD).

This project is designed to be inclusive, collaborative, and deeply rooted in local history—perfect for performers who want to be part of something meaningful and memorable.
